Napoli-Tim’s very long day
My one intention yesterday, when I waited at the Imola Park and Ride at 9:00AM, was that the connections would be smooth and on time. Here I am 26 hours later in Naples, and I can say they were.
We started boarding the ITA flight at 2:20, left exactly at 3:15 with no linger on the runway, and I was actually through customs and on a train to downtown Rome before the scheduled touch down time. It literally took 1 minute to get through passport control. I asked the agent, in Italian, if he was open for business, and he said “ I’ve been waiting for you all day!”
Next in Roma Termini, the mail train station, I bought my ticket on the app while dozens of people were lined up to get their tickets for the high speed train to Naples. The train was going close to 200 MPH. No shit! We passed cars on the freeway alongside as if they weren’t moving. We were there in an hour.
benvenuto in Italia
